Away We Went

For Time Away,

Because everyone deserves some…
So what to take along!

Every now and again it happens that we need to pack up our routines and head out. The question always remains the same, will it stay or will it go? Certain items don’t make the cut because while you may love them they are bulky, or could spill easily… While others make the cut purely based on convenience… So what is the right way to go? Do you pack your essentials and forget about the discomforts of oil all over your travel bags or do you take what is best to travel with? These are the questions I pondered last week as I tried to pack for our beach vacation. (Did you hear? I am on a beach vacation.)
The essentials: My everyday routine.
1. Physicians Formula Organic Wear Facial Makeup Remover Towelettes.
Before bedtime, I get in sleep mode using these 100% natural, lavender-scented wipes. Skin  feels softer from the orange water, olive oil, and soy components.

2. Philosophy Eye Hope Advanced Anti-Aging Eye Cream.
Provides moisture and protection for the delicate eye area. It is designed to diminish dark circles, reduce puffiness, and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. A dose of antioxidants fortifies skin against future damage.

3. Secret Outlast Clear Gel Antiperspirant & Deodorant, Completely Clean.
4. Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector.
Visibly reduces dark spots 58% over 12 weeks. For all skin tones: Results start in about 4 weeks, with a visible reduction in age spots and acne scars.
5. Make-up Brushes.
6.  StriVectin-SD Intensive Concentrate for Stretch Marks & Wrinkles.
Diminishes the appearance of stretch marks and wrinkles, improves visible discolorations, hydrates, improves texture and tone of the skin.

7. Bliss Fatgirlslim.
Reduces the appearance of cellulite with encapsulated caffeine.
This is by no means my only day to day essentials, but I love these a lot!

The Travel Bag Essentials:
The key here is travel size. Hash Tag Obviously. I like to pack light. Packing light allows you to get up at a moments notice and change plans.

1. Acqua di Parma Shampoo, Conditioner, & Body Lotion.
This fragrance’s company, unchanged since its debut in the ’30s, uses a careful balance of all-natural ingredients including lavender essence, vervain, rosemary, sicilian citrus, and bulgarian rose.

2. Peter Thomas Roth Mega Shampoo & Conditioner.
I like to take two differnt types of travel size shampoos & conditioners with me when I travel. With the beach and sand I am washing my hair more on holiday than during my routine at home. The same shampoo everyday leaves my hair flat and limp. This vitamin-infused shampoo with Biotin B-7 Complex and Vitamins C, E & Pro Vitamin B5 leaves hair with a lot of body without looking dry.

3. Secret Clinical Strenth Deoderant.
4. Fresh Sugar Lip Balm.
Fresh produces almost all of the products in travel size. These are also very handy for gym bags! The balm packs in SPF15 along with atleast 6 hours of soft lips.
5. Batiste Dry Shampoo.
I really lucked out once at the pharmacy finding Batiste in travel size. I don’t see it often… evitalizes greasy, dull and lifeless hair between washes.  Instantly leaves your hair feeling clean.
6. Fresh Seaberry Body Cream.
I was told this is the number one selling body cream at Fresh. Therefore, I felt obligated to give it a try. Seaberry oil, also known as seabuckthorn oil, is a powerful antioxidant rich in omegas 7 & 9 that helps to restore, protect, and soften the skin.  It works wonders, especially after a long flight.

So it is with these things that I left the snow in New York to enjoy the sun in Tel Aviv…
